The first of 2 unrelated posts on the near East Side. I was driving past this building when I noticed that it was undergoing major renovation. Here’s what it looked like a few years ago, courtesy of Google Maps:

I noticed this building when I was taking pictures of the neighborhood, but had no idea that it was once covered in all that ivy. I wonder what’s going to go there?
I’m not sure what will happen there. An actual store would have to become a destination place similar to the Goose, because it’s not on a corner with much visibility. Perhaps a community center would work there as well.
